The troops diverged during the afternoon, one party reverting to Chris Relf's sheep farm for further liquid refreshment, while the remainder took a cultural tour of Sennen Cove, St Just, Newlyn, Mousehole and St Ives, with an opportunity for Chris to buy a 'can I go again next time?' present for absent wife (supervising 3 children including new arrival at home). Almost forgot - stopped off at the Barn Club for a souvenir photo for Dave and Ann.

I repeat - they are MAD ! This is before the swim .... Saturday evening's project was a trip to The First & Last at Sennen, but our reputation had arrived ahead of us, and after supping a few ales, we fell for the old "Sorry - we've run out of food" gag, and headed instead for Newlyn Meadery. While waiting for a table there, we tried to find a pub to have a drink; the one we settled for served a particularly foul pint, - but it was Courage after all.... The meadery was good, although nearly all (except Joan) avoided the mead on the basis that we are older and wiser.....
