| I went to Barbados last month and drove past Congo Bay and
thought the pictures of the old earth station may interest ex F1 who served there and
haven't been back. The site is up for sale, what it
turns out to be I don't know because the cost of land there has skyrocketed so it would
have to be a tourist related project but that seem a risky business with Sam Lords Castle
going to the wall along with a number of other hotels.
The quality of the building workmanship can be seen from
the pictures but sadly the place does seem to typify the situation with C&W today! |
