| During the Autumn of
1998, a number of C&W folk
working in London couldn't help but notice the growing number of well-known names leaving
the company after very many years' service, andthe idea of a web-site to help in keeping
in touch was discussed. The Web Site
is managed by Tim Hugill, from the address below. The domain name, for those
who are interested, is registered in his name. Others influential in making this happen
include Ken Holmes, whose Dim Sum lunches at the New World Restaurant
were the catalyst for the idea, Peter
Johnson in Australia who
provided part of the hosting facility until recently, and Terry Stone who put the Meadowbank feature together.
Thanks go to many others for the emails and
general support.
An exchange of beers in the near future would really stimulate some new ideas, and we are
still waiting for someone to organise the party !
